Teacher/Administrator Assistant/Masters in Education…Looking For A Job!

I can’t believe that I would ever be writing a blog like this. I have been preparing for a job in education for the past two years. With the economy as it is I am deemed too expensive. I have offered to negotiate the salary, but with no luck. It is funny..I thought with my former 18 years of teaching experience…14 years of experience in a church as an administrative assistant and with the updating my knowledge of /education with a masters in 2009 I would be sought after..not put-off…I know now that if a teaching job doesn’t come about before the school year begins I will definitely have to get creative and create my own job…any suggestions???????????

Using a Wacom Tablet

Wacom Tablets are expensive to obtain, but clearly a must for the very “techie” artists. The Wacom Tablet is wireless, but incorporates the picture being drawn right onto the computer. Students interested in art, graphic design or animation are a few of the students that would benefit from the use of the Wacom Tablet

This would be a great technology tool to obtain by incorporating it into a grant proposal, as it would be a great experience for the students who are seeking careers in any of the many fields that require technology as well as artists.

mClass:Dibles

mClass:Dibles is a wonderful tool for teachers to quickly assess their students, then create a plan of action to diversify their instruction to meet the students’ needs. Using this tool allows teachers to confidently plan instructional strategies, monitor students performances, and keep track of students falling below the standards required. This handy tool also allows the tracking of students acheivements from one year to the next giving all teachers access to provide instruction that is needed for the student to reach their desired reading goals.
