RSS Readers in Education

Aside from the idea that RSS feeds can definitely save everyone the time it takes to surf from one favorite page to another there are some awesome benefits for educators to use in their classrooms. When you have a classroom of students entering their assignments on online, (for example on blogs) you can easily access their work on your RSS page. This page is constantly being upgraded, so you can also monitor any editing that they have done without going to individual pages to check on their work. RSS feeds are also used as class forums, and as a means for class/group discussions. For more information on how RSS feeds can be used in your classroom check out the websites listed below. If you have a RSS reader already, it would be good to link these feeds right on your page for quick access.
